The animals of Lasa are ambassadors for all life.  They embody our ideals of hope, love, diversity, and compassionate healing.  Each individual comes from a past of uncertainty and fear, abuse and/or neglect.  By coming to Lasa, their lives were saved.  By having them here, our lives are enriched.

Visitors will be encouraged to intermingle with the animals as part of our guided tours, private scheduled appointments, and special events and workshops.

The animals are our highest priority.  Every measure is taken to ensure their health and happiness at all times while we work to build the bridge of unity between our animal family and our human guests.  They hold within them the power to open the hearts and minds of our culture.  Together, we give a face to the “farmed”, a voice to the exploited voiceless, and a home to the abandoned.
